Grub Control: White grubs are the immature stage of Japanese Beetles, Oriental Beetles, European Chafers,
Asiatic Garden Beetles and others. The adult Japanese Beetle lays its eggs in early to mid-summer and by August the young larvae are feeding on turf grass roots. In the fall the larvae move deeper in the soil (2-6") where they stay for the winter. When the soil temperature begins to rise in early spring, the grubs move toward the surface where they again feed on turf grass roots. When feeding is completed, the grubs pupate and finally emerge as adult Japanese Beetles which feed on foliage and flowers of a wide variety of plants in the garden.
Apply insecticide to moist soil. It is extremely important that whichever material is used be heavily
watered in immediately after applying; avoid puddling. Don't let material dry on grass blades.

Milky Spore: This is a biological non-chemical material made up of naturally occuring bacterica. Although there is a two year interval between the time of application and the onset of control, it remains active in the soil for up to 20 years. Apply to garden and lawn area when soil temperature is warm. Water after application. Do not use with other chemicals.
General Insecticides: Use for controlling ants, fleas & ticks. Not an effective grub control.
